Yes, it will burn the ends and cause split ends just like every other flat iron but you can't even see them! The shine is amazing!! I nneveer write reviews but I just had to write one for this amazing flat iron, I’m able to keep my hair nice smooth silky straight for the whole week! And it still looks salon amazing!

I just received my Ti flat iron today and am pretty impressed with it! It is so light and does not snag your hair like my chi ultra did in the past. It straightens my hair better than any straightener I have ever had and I have really coarse and thick hair. It works wonders and I just love my new Ti!

Ok so my sister has this and her hair always looked awesome with no fly a-ways! I asked to use her iron in my hair because I have the type of hair that should be in those anti- frizz commercials. So next thing you know my hair was amazing!!!Like I’ve never seen in my life!!!It was soft, shiny, light, no fly a-ways and it lasted all day and night and the next day!!!!So I decided to get one. I will never buy any other irons; I don’t even need those expensive salon products to tame my wild hair!!!! If they sold these at the local retail store here, they would disappear in a flash!

WOW! This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! Truly awesome. Normally my hair is very dry and frizzy and would require a long time using my previous iron. But with the Ti straightener, I can finish my hair in less than 5 minutes and my hair is down to the middle of my back!!! Love it and highly recommend it to all!

This product is amazing...! I’ve had chemical straightening in the past, and have also purchased numerous electric straighteners... This one, by far, has been the best yet. It gives a very nice, sleek finish too.
