The various types of hair that this can be used on is great! Control and consistency with the marcel handle is great! Having the ability to select your temperature makes it even better!

Love this marcel iron! I have fine color treated hair and have been using this iron for nearly 3 years. When I curl my hair with this iron the curl stays all day. And it curls in less time! A marcel iron is what I learned on so the clip irons are impossible for me to use. Thanks for continuing to carry professional marcel curling irons at prices the consumer can afford.

After reading a lot of the reviews i think the one thing no one considered when buying this is exactly what it says in the name, Professional.. For a Marcel curling iron there is no need to have a "cooling tip". When you're taught properly, like i was in school for cosmetology, to use these irons you would understand why it is unnecessary. For me personally i think its a great curling iron and personally prefer the marcel irons, if you don't know how to use it properly DO NOT BUY..you will burn yourself, a lot.. Hot tools a lot makes a really good spring curling iron, those do have the cooling tips and are used as normal

My mom used the marcel styled curling irons all her life and this is what I grew up using. I went to Sally's and they only carried a no name brand for $13 and they didn't even get hot and I hated using the spring arm ones. Came back to Flatironexperts.com and found what I wanted it was shipped right away, I bought the 1” barrel now I will be purchasing the 1/2" barrel. My theory if it ain't broken don't fix it, I'll only use marcel styled curling irons.

I was extremely pleased with your web site, the promptness of your replies, the tracking of the product and also the Fedex e-mail. I did not comment on the product itself because I have used Hot Tools in the past and have been very pleased.
