My GHD is working GREAT |

I have no problem with my GHD at all! It's great and it straightens my hair just the way I like! BUT yes! One thing that really bugs me about this brand.. is its price! The company set its products' prices too high! It's not like this is the only company that manufacture flat irons anyway.. so I don't think such an act is necessary.. But I will keep using my GHD iron for now until it breaks on me.. We'll see what happens next

I really dont feel like the GHD flat iron is that bad but just because of the price i think its normal for people to expect more. I owned a ghd for 2 years and it was working okay then it break on me so i tried out a different brand, i switched to corioliss a brand that i often saw at the kiosk, i felt that it worked the same way and its half the price. the only real benefit i feel the ghd has is the auto shut off function which is annoying at times and not worth double the price.

I hate this flat iron. There were a lot of great reviews so I thought I would try it, but Im definitely disappointed. It only works well if you blow dry your hair immediately before you use it. I often take showers at night and like to straighten my hair in the morning, but this flat iron won't let me do that unless I spend forever on it. I had a Conair that did a much better job and at a cheaper price. If you want a nice flat iron go with either Ti or Babyliss--these work sooo much better than this one.

I Love my GHD! I must agree its overpriced but hey it works! what i love most is that it automatically turns off so it wont burn down my house!

Ok, so Im a perfectionist when it comes to straightening my hair. I was able to make my hair almost perfect w/ my crappy flat iron. So when I bought the Avanti flat iron, I was expecting nothing short of flawless. This is a great flat iron (dont get me wrong), but don't expect any miracles. My hair looks beautiful but you might be able to find a cheaper flat iron that works similarly.
