Just cause it says CHI doesn't mean its amazing! |

I got a CHI for Christmas two years ago, and thought it was amazing!
Only to find that the plastic coating on the outside of the flat iron started peeling off from the heat.
Also, a few months after buying it, the switch went in it, so every time I turned it on, it started sizzling. I got that fixed at a local repair shop, but a month later, the plates started getting hot.
Everyone says CHI is amazing, but I beg to differ. Its not that great. Yes, it gets hot and straightens your hair, but its made of CRAP quality and doesnt last long AT ALL! I have an Avanti now, and its amazing!

Don’t buy |

I decided to buy this flat iron without reading the reviews and boy do I regret it. This does not work at all! .Don’t waste your money on something that is not going to work. This did not do anything. It just left it wavy and took way to long for my hair to get straight.

I have been straightening my hair for three years and my Chi died on me, i thought i had a great iron then i purchased the KQC X-Heat that this website recommended and i could really tell the difference, my hair shines a lot more and my hair just glides. Comparing the two iron the CHI is not very good.

I got this for christmas from this website and it has broke 3 times i have sent it back twice i believe but they charge you to send it back for the warranty in the end i was very disappointed i have ended up being left with nothing to do my hair with i finally gave up when it wouldnt turn on again and bought a straightener from the salon
