What can I say about the Original CHI flat iron...It WAS the bomb. The Original CHI flat iron was the first ceramic flat iron in the hair industry and it blew all the competition away. The result was noticeably better compared to all the old school flat irons. I was a proud supporter of CHI, I carried their retail line and I've sold hundreds of the Original CHI flat iron to my customers and they loved it. Don't get me wrong I still think CHI flat irons are great but with all the new technologies coming out, from tourmaline to titanium plates and flat irons heating up to 430°F with adjustable temperature.

Why would you want to stick with the Original CHI? As a professional I need tools that can get the job done. The CHI brand sounds great and all but I don't really care about that, I need a flat iron that works. And i feel guilty selling CHI flat irons to my customers when i know there are better brands out there like KQC, FHI and Avanti. Another thing is there is too many imitation CHI's out in the market today, if you find a deal out there that is super cheap, it's most likely fake so be careful!
