Awesome flat iron |

I loved this flat iron. I owned it for two years before someone smashed the plug and I could no longer use it. My hair is natural somewhat kinky. I could always get my hair silky straight with this flat iron without burning it. The flat iron was reasonably priced. The only thing I didn't like so much was that the ceramic on the plates can scratch off in time. However for the price...for the workmanship and for the product itself, it is a great flat iron. I really would recommend the product.

I'm in my mid forties, and I've always been afraid of flat irons. I recently went to the salon, and the hairdresser straightened my hair. I liked it so much, that I decided to try one, but I wanted the best because I wanted to minimize damage to my hair. I've been using the Cortex for a few weeks now, and my hair feels good. It's shiny, and the iron is easy to use. I can't compare it to other irons since I've never use others, but I'm very happy with this one.

I bought the Cortex last years and it still works great!! It still leaves my hair straight and shiny all day and always leaves it feeling silky! Although it may take longer to heat up than when I first bought, it still takes no time to straighten my thick, wavy, frizzy hair! This flat iron is a godsend!!

I'm really pleased with this Cortex flat iron..haven't used any others though, so my knowledge is limited. However, it does what it promised to do, and is very easy to use. It's worth the price.

this isn't the best flat iron in the world .. but it comes pretty darn close. I love that it has an adjustable temperature unlike the chi. It straightens, curls, does just about anything I want it to do. My only complaint is that it feels at times like it's pulling my hair. Worth the investment, and I'm not sorry I bought it, but i'm not sure if it's the best one out there.
