This Cortex flat iron is, by far, the best I've ever used! It turns my hair silky, straight and swipes easily on my long, naturally curly hair. Thankfully, living in such a high-humidity area like Florida, I've noticed that this particular iron produces hair that is resistant to humidity. I've never had a problem with my hair catching or snagging on the plates, nor have I ever noticed abnormally damaged ends as a result of using this product. I originally bought this exact flat iron six years ago. It lasted about four years, when the connective wiring finally gave out (this might have been a result of poor cord wrapping on my part). I have tried multiple irons (including the Chi) and have found that the Cortex is still the best iron I've ever used. I recently purchased a replacement. The results are beautiful and I've found that it doesn't damage my hair nearly as much as other irons. Aside from all that, the price is perfect! I would, without a doubt, recommend this iron to ANYONE!

This straightner is AAAAAAAAAAmazing. I love it i love it i love it i love it i love it i LOOOOOOVE it ! ! ! ! So easy to use, my hair is oooh so straight, smooth, silky, and radiant! I would recommend this straightener to anyone. I also noticed how my hair stays so straight, even when it rains and there is moist in the air. LOVE IT can't get enough of it!

This was my first flat iron purchase. I've been asking friends and reading review after review trying to make a decision. I didn't want to make an expensive purchase and end up disappointed. After reading all of the wonderful reviews about Cortex, I had to buy it. Got it within 4 days (amazing) and tried it the same night. I have long curly/kinky hair. It usually takes me about and 1hr. & 45 min. to straighten my hair with a hot comb. With the Cortex, it took me 25 MINUTES!!! Love it! I'll never consider straightening my hair to be a hassle again :)
