Money well spent |

I did an online comparison of the Cortex and the Chi. I chose the Cortex, due to the favorable reviews. I've used it for 2 1/2 months now and have loved it. It takes no time at all to straighten my hair and it looks beautiful. I've gotten many compliments. I straighten it about 3 times a week and it holds until I wash it (with touch ups after I get out of bed). I've had no problems with the straightener working properly. I think it was money well spent!

Disappointed |

This flat iron isn't so great. I was tricked into buying this purple one cus of the color. The iron itself isn't so special. By adding another 20 - $30, I would have been able to get a better flat iron like Np or kqc. I totally regret it. Don't buy this one, buy something else that works.

Great Straightener |

I really like this tool. It is the first tool that I have used that will straighten my hair after i put a perm in my hair. I would buy this again and would buy it for my sibblings as gifts it is worth the price. Recommend it to everyone :P

Hi my name is KelseY i was in my localMall when igot my hair straightened ,and i thought omg this will never work on my wavy hair it did !! and that was yesterday..its still stuck straight IM BUYING IT ON THIS WEBSITE I HOPE!!

Is Cortex Purple Flat Iron Worth Buying? |

This budget iron has a solid-metal feel. When you first hold it, it wont' give you the cheap plastic texture that some flat irons would give. So i wouldn't worry about the handles ever melting on me.. and in some cases cracking. This Cortex Flat Iron definitely is a step up from my no-name flat iron. I give it 4 thumbs up^^
