I recently purchased this flat iron with advice that it was better than a chi iron. I would completely agree. It gets hot very quick and my hair looks so silky and not frizzy with the aid of this iron. I've never been so excited to "do" my hair because the time is dramatically cut and the outstanding results I get. It's well worth the money, plus you get a warranty as well. This is a necessity because I live in a very humid climate.

As I said it works for me not sure how does cheaper one performs(because I never tried anything else before). I just wish to have gone for 1" version of this because that would be easier to handle by yourself

This iron is not terrible but I have had better ones before. I got this as a birthday gift from my girlfriend. I love the color and how it looks, but it doesn't give me the complete straight look. I have to turn the heat up so it will work effectively. Overall, it's pretty decent and easy to use, but it just doesn't give me the super straight hair I was expecting.
