I have very thick curly/wavy hair, and once I got this it has been amazing! It leaves my hair so smooth and silky. My friends envy my hair sooo much now. It leaves it straight until it gets wet. It’s worth your money. You’ll have no problems with it! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

I have spent well over $500 on flat irons. I own flat irons by GHD, Solia, Sedu, and Cortex. The Cortex is by far my favorite. I didn't like how the GHD heats up to whatever temperature it feels like.. it's just not what I was looking for. The Cortex heats up to the temperature I wanted and it heats up very quickly.

I have tried a couple other flat irons and they all turned out pretty crappy and eventually burned my hair. After EXTENSIVE research, I came across the Cortex. I read reviews and decided to try it myself. It’s amazing! I never thought a flat iron would work this well with MY hair. It’s truly a miracle! I used to wear my hair up in a bun all the time but now I leave it out. It gave me a huge confidence boost! I love it and will never go with another brand!
