This curling iron gets hot pretty quickly. It creates awesome curls, but they don't last long in my hair. I have very fine and thin hair, the normal Asian hair. LOL And my hair's quite easy to curl but the curls don't stay intact. I love the clamp because my hair doesn't slip. I also love the pop in pop out lock for the temperature and the swivel and LONG cord. The cool tip is the right size for me, not too small unlike what others said. And it doesn't get hot.
Overall, this is a great curling iron but a bit pricey.

The iron gets hot enough so that it doesn't take too long to curl my hair. I have medium/coarse hair. The curl w/ the 1 1/4 inch is a good size for updated styles.

I bought the 1 1/4 inch curling iron about 2 years ago and it just broke. So I am just buying a replacement because I love it so much. It gets really hot and actually curls my hair.

I love this curling iron!!! It's great for big curls on my medium length hair. I plan to buy another iron a size smaller to just to have another available size. It heats up really fast and doesn't pull hair strands.

I read another review in which the writer claimed that her curls fell soon after using other irons, but not with this one. To my pleasant surprise, I agree!!! My curls stayed throughout the day. This was much quicker to use than a clamp iron -- once you get the hang of wrapping. (by the way, using the glove is a must). I'm very pleased with this purchase.
