The Babyliss Ceramic Curling iron is one model back of the #2 Ranking Babyliss Tourmaline Curling Iron, the main difference between the two is the Ceramic Version heats up to 390 F vs 428 F from the Tourmaline version. For 90% the individuals, the 390 F is more than enough, we would recommend the Tourmaline Model only for people who have really thick unmanageable hair. The other obvious difference is the Ceramic vs Tourmaline argument, Both Ceramic and Tourmaline Technology emits negative ions and far-infrared heat however they claim Tourmaline is suppose to emit MORE. This curling iron is fantastic! I got the 1". It heats up fast; the clip holds my very fine hair firmly without any snagging or breaking. My hair slides easily over the smooth barrel. Curls hold well. No product sticking. I didn't expect this curling iron to be such a great purchase. I will be buying different sizes for this again very soon!

This iron is excellent. It really held my curls. The first day I used it turned out to pretty windy.. like one of the windiest day of the year! My hair was blown on top of my head, to the side, and every which way else. I DID NOT LOSE ONE CURL!!! Totally awesome, I would recommend this to anyone! Just love its super nice quality!

This curling iron is great for my weekend needs.  I usually curl my hair during weekend before heading out.  I find it very easy to use and the curls last all day if you put hair spray (of course u have to). It doesn't burnt my hair too :) Get one!

I have been using babyliss products for years.  The curling iron is great, heats up fast, produces long lasting curls and so easy to use.  The curls are soft and light, it doesn't have that burning smell as well. I like how I can decrease or increase the heat settings.  It's simply the best!  No comparison.
