Babyliss Pro Ceramic Curling Iron (1 inch):

The Babyliss Ceramic Curling iron is one model back of the #2 Ranking Babyliss Tourmaline Curling Iron, the main difference between the two is the Ceramic Version heats up to 390 F vs 428 F from the Tourmaline version. For 90% the individuals, the 390 F is more than enough, we would recommend the Tourmaline Model only for people who have really thick unmanageable hair. The other obvious difference is the Ceramic vs Tourmaline argument, Both Ceramic and Tourmaline Technology emits negative ions and far-infrared heat however they claim Tourmaline is suppose to emit MORE. Both model have the same benefits:

2. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft              4. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle

We feel that the difference is not so much about Ceramic vs Tourmaline but the quality of the curling, they both come from the same company and the same factory therefore the quality would in this case be equal. The Babyliss Ceramic Curling iron is $15 cheaper, but does not heat up as hot however for 90% of the individuals that will not be a problem anyways. This iron also comes with a 2 year warranty and is also Dual Voltage meaning you can use it around the world. They are both really great curling irons, you can't go wrong choosing either one!

Great curling iron December 3, 2009

This curling iron is great for my weekend needs.  I usually curl my hair during weekend before heading out.  I find it very easy to use and the curls last all day if you put hair spray (of course u have to). It doesn't burnt my hair too :) Get one!

This is the most amazing iron! Every time I curl my hair, it looks like I just got a very nice perm done. My hair was always very flat and this curling iron gave me so much volume! It is fast and easy to use. I would recommend this to everyone!!

I have been using babyliss products for years.  The curling iron is great, heats up fast, produces long lasting curls and so easy to use.  The curls are soft and light, it doesn't have that burning smell as well. I like how I can decrease or increase the heat settings.  It's simply the best!  No comparison.

I highly recommend this curling iron. It gets hot quickly. It grips the hair very well, so I don't have to go back and redo the parts that fell out. It never rips out my hair as some other irons do. Overall I am extremely pleased!
