I bought this years ago. Its been probably 5 years? It still works so its not made of cheap material. It gets the job done but not in the most efficient way. Sometimes, I do have to run it down 2 times and I only have fine wavy hair. Another down side is the "straightness" doesn't last long. In about 2 hours my hair starts to curve. It wont go back to normal but its not as straight as i'd like it to be. I've used better and I don't believe this is worth it :( Just pay another 20 bucks and you will get one that you will fall in love with! Oh and one more thing. If you close the iron so that the plates are together, one end touches more than the other :(

I bought this product a few weeks ago and I'm amazed. I had a CHI flat iron for 3 years and I thought it was good but it's nothing compared to this Babyliss flat iron!! I love the adjustable settings and its SOOOOO much faster. I have long, thick hair and I can get it all straightened in 10-15 mins, not 30 mins like I spent before! It's GREAT!

I have had lots of straighteners, but this one is by far the best. It has been real difficult for me to control my hair, but this one works so well and so fast! Highly recommended!!!

I bought my Babyliss flat iron about 3 years ago and it finally gave out (the wiring). It cost me about $85 back then and I'm happy to say that it served its purpose and did my hair well. I would love to try any new products from the same brand again!
