Adjustable Digital Temperature (Fahrenheit to Celsius):
The adjustable digital temperature display allows you to know the exact temperature of your flat iron for precision straightening. Avanti Wet to Dry heats up to a scorching 450° F (230°C) in less than 30 seconds.  The default temperature will be set to Fahrenheit; however, if it reverses to Celsius then simply follow the steps to change it back:
1.  Unplug the iron, then plug it back into an outlet.
2.  Press down on the "power" and the "^" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. The screen will show "F" first. Your iron has now been set to Fahrenheit. To switch the setting to Celsius, follow those steps but press down (opposite arrow) and the power button. Your screen will show "C" indicating that the setting has been changed to Celsius.

Wet to Dry in Minutes! May 16, 2013

This product is AMAZING! I would have never imagined that straightening my hair would be so easy and fast. I used to hate having to blow dry it and then take some more time to straighten it; it was just such a hassle, and this is coming from a girl who doesn't straighten her hair on the daily. If you straighten your hair often, I most definitely recommend you get your hands on this straightener. Another great feature I have found is that it prevents my hair from frizzing up, and that's something that no other straightener has ever been able to do. I usually always needed to use anti- frizz products because my hair is hard to tame; luckily, I no longer have to worry about such thing when I want to rock straight hair. Last but not least, if you purchase an Avanti Wet to Dry Croc straightener you can take it anywhere, it’s super light and very convenient for traveling.

I have really thick and damaged hair from years of dying and using the wrong products. Straighteners that guarantee anti-frizz control should really keep to their word. So I tried the wet to dry Avanti straightener that Rosebud143 recommended. Now I can skip the the extra minutes of hair drying and go right to the straightener. It saves me so much time in the morning. My hair is less frizzy than it would have if I'd used a hair dryer and then the straightener.

I've always used a CHI it was a big deal for me to switch my flat iron brand. a friend of mine had one when I was visiting her so I used it and ended up liking it and decided to get one for myself. I like the size of the plates and my hair is always shiny after I use it. The only drawback is it gets kind of hot so you can't really touch the outside of the flatiron which I never had a problem with with my chi. I have had it about 2 weeks and am pleased so far.

The straightener is just average for this price range.  After less than a year the cord stopped working and I got it replaced by FIE but I'm scared it will happen again now that I've had it more than a year. You can only straighten hair when using it from wet to dry and the styling is not as good when using it with wet hair.
