I would say that this iron works ok. It's not great and it's not horrible. But it's a lot better than my Chi though! Glides down my hair pretty smooth. Good

Get the Avanti! |

This is the best flat iron ever. I have used the CHI, the Sedu, just to name a few of the better ones. I received my Avanti today and used it immediately. My hair is softer and shinier than it has ever been just after one time. I have very fine hair that is frizzy if I do not use a flat iron. I live in Mississippi where it is humid 75% of the year and sometimes even more. I think this is going to be the last flat iron I have to buy. I hope my hair stays as straight and silky as it is now, when the humidity is at its high. I would recommend to anyone out there that is researching the many flat irons to stop here and get the Avanti. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Excellent Product |

I got this product around a year ago and I've been using it around once to twice a week since then. It was basically the first straightening iron I bought so I was scared to spend so much but, I would recommend the product to anyone. I have many friends that have expensive straighteners like the chi one but they get split ends in less than a month after their hair cut but I was able to last 6 months or more without a haircut with my Avanti Iron. Even my hair stylist told me that my hair was really healthy and that I didn't even need a haircut.

I have tried other flat irons before (with not much luck). So, I bought the Avanti iron with a little bit of hesitation; but, after trying it one time, I knew it was worth the money. The Avanti iron is very smooth and glides through my hair without pulling. It also works well for me at a very low temperature (I feel that it is less harmful to my hair) and heats up pretty quick. I have medium thick slightly wavy hair. This is a very good product.

I am a hair stylist and have bought a lot of junk, And have used the best . Until i decided to check out flat irons on the net. I come across the Avanti. I was not sure if i wanted the Chi or the Avanti Iron, so i started to read the reviews. They all sounded very good so i decided to go with Avanti. I have used the Chi before. So i have seen what it can do, It was a "decent" iron , but i wanted to try something else. This Avanti blows the Chi away. I have only owned my Avanti iron for 3 weeks and have already sold people on them. They bought one. I, as a stylist recommend this iron for all hair textures, lengths, and densities. There is no job too big for this thing.
