Hotter than most! |

This is a very nice flat iron, not to mention a great color. It heats up very quickly and I love the adjustable setting. It gets hotter than most flat irons, so it would be good for very curly hair.

Avanti works great! |

This was the first time I’ve gotten a good company flat iron, before i had a conair and it sucked. it always pulled at my hair and it took forever to heat up, it was too heavy and clunky.
But then i got the Avanti flat iron for my birthday, and i loveeee it, it doesn’t pull at my hair, and its really light and smooth. I naturally have curly hair that doesn’t do well with the outdoors, but now my hair actually stays straight when i go outside. i loveeeeee my new Avanti : D

I think this is a really good iron, although it heats up REALLY hot! like it almost burns my hair...it flattens the way I like, but takes alot of strokes before getting smooth enough to leave the house. I think next time I'd buy a KQC, the one i used of my friend's worked a lot better.

Great iron for local travellers |

My job requires me to travel a lot within Canada and US. This iron is perfect for me cus I can carry this with me whenever I go. I don't have to worry about my hair anymore :) This is a must if you plan to straighten your hair all the time.

Beginner’s experience |

This is my very first hair straightener! Since I don’t have much experience with other brands, I cannot really compare my Avanti with them. Anyway, I just thought that with my Avanti, it’s been great and I have zero complaint about it! I like how it is so light and easy for me to get around my hair roots. I was just shopping at the mall the other day, and I notice that many flat irons they have are quite huge and are somewhat heavier than my Avanti. Oh well, I think mine is so much better! It has the look and the quality I need! And it’s just so easy and quick to get my hair straight! I heard from my best friend that she used to use the one from Conair, but it has not been heating up well and it requires 4-5 passes before her hair is somewhat straight.. Afterall, I just have to say that I am very satisfied with my Avanti!
