This 2 inch iron is definitely my size! My hair is quite long.. going all the way to my lower back and it's fairly rough.. I'm really glad that they make this in two inch! Because really, the bigger the size, the easier and shorter time I need to get my hair done! I was thinking about getting it permanently straightened before.. but thinking about the inflexibility I'll have, like not being able to do any styling that involves curling my hair.. I feel that getting a flat iron maybe a wiser decision. My Amika iron heats up in seconds and makes my hair smooth and silky no matter how I style it! I'm really glad that I decided to go ahead with this even when my co-worker keeps on telling me about her T3. I'm happy that my money was well spent on something that is worth more than I expected. High quality and no regret!

This works beyond my expectation I must say..! I have REALLY long and coarse hair that is very difficult to deal with..  and because there was not any way I can have control over this mess.. I never really do much styling with my hair... Until recently, I got this as a birthday present from my friend.. I am amazed by what it does to my hair!! I thought it was still not good enough to be use and fix my hair at the very beginning, but I was wrong and this 2 inch plate changes my hair to silky straight and smooth in just 2 seconds. Thank you to Amika for inventing this Wide Plates flat iron and my best friend for taking the time and money to get this for me!
