I was sick of having my hair being pulled out as I used other drugstore flat irons. After much research, I purchased this Amika flat iron. I got this flat iron with bonus items for cheap because of all the great deals and sales had at the time! At first, I was seriously considering returning it. My hair was no shinier or straighter than using the "bad" flat irons. After about a month, my hair finally started looking good! My hair is straightened in about 12 minutes, not too bad! 4/5 stars...

This is a great Straightener for thick, Coarse hair!. My little Sister has thick, coarse hair and this straightener works miracles! What I do is, wash her hair with a regular shampoo & conditioner. Then put in a revlon leave in conditioner & let it air dry. Then I detangle it. I use the big sexy hair protectant spray. I only have to go over her hair once with the Amika and I get incredible results!!

I loved how quickly it was sent out to me. Plus it works amazingly, me and my daughter are very happy with the Amika flat iron. I’ve even stopped using the blow dryer which I know does cause some damage to my hair. I couldn’t be more thrilled with this iron!

Amika flat iron |

All right so I bought this iron about a week ago and have been using it on JUST my bangs (my hair is curly). Today I woke up and decided that I wanted to try something new. Sooo I decided to straighten it. The results I got with the aid of this flat iron were amazing! With this Amika flat iron, I can get my thick / coarse hair straightened so I know the flat iron is doing a wonderful job!!
