I think this is a great flat iron. It makes my hair so straight and frizz free. I have had about 3 of these over the years and have noticed they don't put out such a great job on your hair after use for about 15 months. All 3 of the Amika flat irons I had ended their life the same way. Since this flat iron is so great - I don't mind replacing them after a while.

I am Caucasian with very kinky curly hair, my hair is also very damaged from a bleaching that went way wrong not to long ago..Ive only had one treatment and trim and definitely due for another this week okay with that said I received my Amika today...& OMG!!! you cant even tell my hair is damaged and I did my regular heat protectant and chi shine stuff I LOVE LOVE this flat iron and I have used many from chi to sedu to the reg conair to the AMIKA which I LOVE!!!!

This is my first flat iron and it was a christmas present I got from my mom. I haven't had much experience with these styling irons in the past and this is really my first time.. My hair gets all bundle up sometimes because it is very dry and coarse. However, I found that when I use this flat iron on my hair I am able to straighten my hair out and get rid of all the frizz. I was really glad to see this result and my hair looks much healthier after using this! All thanks to Amika :)

I purchased this Amika flat iron when Flat iron experts had a great sale. I am very pleased with the results I've gotten in the few months I've had it. I am one year into transitioning out of relaxers, so I have A LOT of new growth. But whenever I flat iron my hair, the two textures blend perfectly and people still think I'm relaxed.
